Silver has been used for thousands of years as a natural antimicrobial agent. When bound to our fabrics, silver ions eliminate odors so you can sweat in your socks without worrying about the rest.
How it works
the science
At a microscopic level, silver interacts with bacteria through positively charged ions. Sweat moisture triggers a controlled release of Ag⁺ ions, which are drawn to negatively charged microbes. They then disrupt key cellular functions, making it difficult for bacteria to grow and reproduce on the surface of the sock. Since odor is produced when these microbes break down sweat into smaller compounds, inhibiting this mechanism reduces the rate at which odor develops.

Yes. While the fabric's antimicrobial properties neutralize odor-causing bacteria, the socks themselves can still collect physical dirt and grime on the surface. Washing your socks regularly helps remove dust, sweat, and anything else that might build up on your grips and reduce their stickiness.
Silver ions are positively charged. They attract and disrupt negatively charged microbes, inhibiting their ability to grow and multiply on the fabric. This neutralizes the impact of these unwanted guests and protects the integrity of your socks.
Our silver-ion technology is engineered to last with proper care. Because the ions are molecularly integrated within the fibers, the textile retains its antimicrobial properties even after repeated washing.
Given the extremely low levels of silver particles used in fabrics, there is no conclusive evidence to suggest that silver treated fabrics cause harmful long term side effects.
